ARIMAS Kids Art Lab: Summer Cohort
A 5 seat project based summer art program for ages 8 to 11
Small group. Big projects. Real art time.
ARIMAS Kids Art Lab is a small-group summer art program for creative kids who love making, building, painting, and designing. With only 5 students max, each child gets more attention, more support, and more time to create meaningful artwork over multiple sessions.
This is not a crowded camp or a drop-in craft class. Students will meet twice a week in a working artist studio in Center City Philadelphia to explore masks, crowns, mirrors, sneaker sculptures, collage, paper mâché, rhythm objects, and personal symbols.

Why Small Group?
ARIMAS Kids Art Lab is intentionally small. With only 5 seats, students have more space to ask questions, make choices, receive guidance, and work at their own pace. This format gives kids time to build, revise, decorate, problem solve, and complete artwork they can feel proud of.
Studio Themes
Crowns, Masks & Character
Students will create wearable art using cardboard, paper, paint, collage, and sculptural details.
Mirror Me
Students will design decorated acrylic mirror artworks using pattern, color, symbols, and mixed media.
Sneaker Sculpture Studio
Students will build paper mâché sneaker sculptures with collage, paint, pattern, and personal design details.
Rhythm Objects & Studio Celebration
Students will create decorated shaker/sound objects, finish details on earlier projects, and end with a small studio celebration.
Projects may shift slightly based on student interests, pace, and creative direction, but each session will stay focused on building strong, imaginative artwork in a supportive small group setting.
Registration
A child’s spot is confirmed once payment and the registration form are both complete.
This program requires a minimum of 3 students to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, families will receive a full refund or may transfer to a future session.
